Our experienced staff will provide your pet with only the very best care - whether they are here for an appointment, or with us for an extended stay. At Confederate Woods Veterinary hospital, Client education, exceptional service and patient care are our top priorities.

Veterinary Technicians

Our veterinary technicians provide your pet with exceptional care. They can answer many of your pet care questions and if your pet needs surgery, or needs to stay in our hospital for extended care, they'll provide your pet with our special brand of compassionate care.

In addition to providing nursing care and administering treatments to our hospitalized patients, our veterinary technicians perform many tasks, including operation of our in-hospital laboratory equipment, positioning and obtaining X-rays, monitoring patient anesthesia, and performing dental cleanings.

Technician Assistants

Our technician assistants play a pivotal role in the care of our patients. They have many diverse responsibilities including assisting the doctor during appointments, filling prescriptions, cleaning exams rooms, helping with inventory, updating medical records, and assisting with patient care.

Whatever the assigned task, the help they provide to our doctors and veterinary technicians is critical to our overall patient care goals. Our assistants not only have a focus on patient care, but are trained to educate our clients on many aspects of their pet’s care. Ensuring that you have the information you need to take the best care of your pet is a top priority.

Inventory Manager
I have worked at CWVH since 1992 and I feel that since that time many advances have been made in veterinary medicine. I most enjoy educating clients on the importance of preventative care and other health related issues. I started this job with the hope of helping animals and truly believe that education is the key. I know that whenever a pet owner is provided with the correct information, an animal benefits.
