Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine – 30+ years in practice.
Dr. Ruppert is thrilled to be joining Confederate Woods and practicing so close to home! He’s lived in Fairfield, Pennsylvania, since 1991, moving to the area right after graduating from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, where he was first in his class. After beginning his career as a general practitioner for both large and small animals, he narrowed his focus to companion animals in 1996. He has 30+ years of experience to share with friends old and new.
Geof spends his time away from the office on a farm raising Merino and Corriedale sheep for hand spinning wool, as well as a few chickens. He has a daughter, Caroline; a son, Sam; and two (soon to be three!) granddaughters he loves to visit with. Any other spare time is spent playing bluegrass and folk tunes on banjo and guitar. None of this would be possible without his lovely wife, Barb.
